I wish to express my thanks to all those who helped my daughter Kelly after she was in a road accident along the Esplanade, by the King's Statue, late yesterday afternoon.

A huge thanks to:

Weymouth Police who were on the scene immediately and called to let me know
The Ambulance Service for attending her, who were also there very quickly
The driver of the car who was concerned for my daughter
The lady member of the public who put a jacket over her as she lay in the road
Kelly's friend Emma and her mum Julie for being with her
Lee for helping to get her moped home

My eldest son, Andy, who was with me very quickly and took control without needing to ask what to do, and to his boss Dennis for his understanding.

My youngest son, Luke, for his understanding that his big sister needed us.
