Anywhere that seems like a good idea

Sorry to have to announce that this event has been cancelled for the 6th, but we hope to rearrange it with Asda for a later date.

Although I have put this on the forums calendar I thought I would mention it here too.

Yours truly will be signing copies of the book: "Westham Over the Bridge of Time" at Asda on 6th December 2008. Price: £5.00 with all proceeds going back into the Westham community via the Westham COPS group.

The book is also available through the website and I am happy to sign it for you by that means too.

Look out for my new book coming very soon: "Weymouth Through Time"

Not that I wish to disappoint anyone (I was going to say 'my fans' but I don't think I have any! ) but as Asda have indicated that we shall probably have to sit outside in the cold on Saturday, we may not be around too long. I intend to sign some copies before I get there as after 10 minutes in the cold I won't be able to write anything!

Of course, anyone on the forums just has to say that they want a copy and I can arrange to get one posted or delivered if local, or they can be purchased through the Westham website (part of this one) for which there is a link on the homepage.

Hi Smiffy :)

As my nearest Post Office is now over your way, I have to go there to post the books, so I can easily drop a copy off to you C.O.D.

I will reply to your email too.

For anyone who wants to know, my latest book, Weymouth Through Time, should be available next week. I am in the process of doing a webpage with more information about it, but it is basically a 'then and now' pictures (180) with the history given too (13,000+ words). All old pics are in sepia-tone and modern photographs are in full colour, taken by an excellent Weymouth photographer. It covers: Weymouth and the villages within the old 1933 borough boundary, i.e. Wyke Regis, Radipole, Broadwey & Upwey, Preston and Sutton Poyntz.

Smiffy, I have just sent you an email to the address you gave me in yours, but as it is one that is known to sometimes receive it as junk, please check your junk mail if it doesn't arrive in your inbox.
