Old Town Hall, Weymouth - Celebration 13th September
JOIN THE CELEBRATION
OLD TOWN HALL, WEYMOUTH
Some of things visitors can enjoy are:
Display of local history of the area and signed copies of the book "Weymouth Through Time" from which a donation is made to the Old Town Hall for each copy sold.
Re-enactment by Pike and Shot Tour and Event Company (PASTE)
Art displays
Photographic displays
Music
Refreshments
Information about the Chapelhay Community Partnership and of course information about the Old Town Hall project to renovate and restore the building for it to be used as a Heritage Centre on one floor and an Arts Centre on the other.
There will be a lot more besides, so do come along and see what it's all about.
Location: Old Town Hall, High Street, Weymouth - opposite the Boot Inn down the end of High West Street and diagonally behind the council offices on North Quay. Nearest car park is the council offices car park which is open to anyone at weekends, pay and display.

I came to your very enjoyable opening on Sunday 13th but unfortunately lost a beloved Sony Digital Camera, possibly left on the table outside the town hall. I am desperate to be reunited with it and write to you in the vain hope that you may have some information. Perhaps someone found it and took it to the police station, for example. Unfortunately I don't live in Weymouth and therefore can't come in person to look for it. I took some footage of some of the events and would desperately like to see the results!! So if you have any information at all that might lead to its recovery or any suggestions as to what I could do to find it. Please get in touch by e mail or phone 01189 844377/mo

Hi Antonia, glad you enjoyed the event, but sorry to learn you lost your camera. I will print out your post and take it down the Old Town Hall in case anyone has found it. I really hope you get it back.
I don't want to get your hopes up unnecessarily but I have a vague recollection of there being a camera left of one of the tables inside when we were clearing up. I will have a look to see if I can find it.
