New Forums for Weymouth Ex-Pats

By request of an existing member of the forums, a new forum has been created for Weymouth Ex-Pats.

We so often lose touch with those who shared our lives in some way, whether as friends or workmates perhaps, and this is an opportunity to get back in touch and maybe even have a reunion. Anyone who was born, lived or worked in Weymouth is welcome to join the forums to chat with other ex-pats or post requests for information regarding those they are seeking to contact again.

You will need to sign up as a member of the forums in order to post, but once you have, you may use the facilities of Private Messaging and email to other members.

Heritage Open Days 2007

The annual Heritage Week starts this Saturday, 8th September running to the 16th. During this week, places that either charge an entry fee or are not normally open to the public (e.g. the Old Crown Court and Cells, Dorchester, where the Tolpuddle Martyrs were tried), open their doors to the public for free, including some National Trust properties. This is an ideal opportunity to experience our heritage.
